I love teaching!  I knew in fourth grade that teaching was for me.  I graduated from Brighton High School in 1994.  While I was a student there I had an opportunity to work in the school's preschool program.  I really enjoyed that experience.  After graduating from high school I attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.  Those of you familiar with Sanpete County know that there is a lot of turkeys and not a whole lot otherwise.  However, my grandparents live right next to the college and I enjoyed spending time with them.  From Snow I went up to Utah State- going right into the elementary education program.  I had incredible professors who really promoted quality teaching in the classroom.  Halfway through the education program at USU, I took some time off to serve a mission for my church in Toronto, Canada. After I returned home, I immediately jumped back into school.  I married Aaron on August 7, 1999 in Salt Lake.  I graduated from Utah State in the spring of 2000.  I  taught 4 years at Country View Elementary before coming over to West Haven.  In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano, watching movies with my husband, and being with my 2 dogs.

My husband and I recently adopted a beautiful girl named Jackie- she is our pride and joy and a wonderful addition to our family.
